THEY say you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, but with Adam Lambert it’s a must.
The American Idol runner-up with the theatre background appears somewhat in drag on the cover of his debut album For Your Entertainment.
And that’s what Lambert’s all about — entertainment, flamboyancy, controversy and some downright catchy songs.
With a dream list of songwriters including Pink, Lady GaGa, Ryan Tedder, Max Martin and Justin Hawkins (The Darkness), Lambert rocks one minute, camps it up the next and croons soon after.
Most would be familiar with the excellent single Whataya Want From Me while the Hawkins’ penned electro-rocker Music Again should pop up as a future single.
Strut simmers along a swing beat and Soaked is a dramatic, unreleased Muse tune.
