It was a day for the locals at the Armidale Greyhound Racing Club meet on Saturday as Armidale trainer Betty Keane took home five wins and Uralla trainer Verona Wilson finished the day with three.
Between them, Keane and Wilson, cleared the field, as their dogs won every race on the day.
Keane scored her first win in race one, the Armidale Fruit Market 365m maiden, as her dog Post Master cruised to a five length win over Keith's Pick and Our Prince.
Wilson took home race two as favourite Rum Tum Teddy held up a late charge from Keane's Academy Doll and Modern Utah to win by under two lengths.
Paymaster bought home the money for Keane in race three, outclassing Chanel's Tipsy and Keane's other dog, Titan's Memory, to win by just over a length.
Keane's 1/4 favourite, Academy Secret, was unstoppable in race four, the Barry Mitchell appreciation, holding off Oingo Gogo and Blue Impact.
Wilson got her second win in race five as her 1/1 favourite Little Chandelle beat Ragtime and Anorev Platiki by a head.
Wilson's dog Anorev Raidmondo bought home the bacon in race six, holding off Da's Gift and Maddie's Our to win by three lengths.
Academy Dawn, another Keane dog, won race seven ahead of Roxy Pro and Gilgai Blizzard.
Keane's dog Oxa Agent was unstoppable in final race of the day, smashing Black Lily and Cloview Amy to win by over ten lengths.
