ORANGE Netball Association is taking steps to ensure it continues to produce good players by introducing an 11 years development squad.

A training squad of 20 girls will be named from Sunday's trials to develop their skills and knowledge of netball next year.

The squad will receive netball coaching from accredited coaches Shirley Hyde and Christine Rieksen as well as attend carnivals.

The 11 years development squad trials will be held on Sunday at 2pm at the Orange High School gym.

Trials are open to girls who are turning 11 in 2006 (born 1995).

2006 State Age squad selections will also be held on Sunday at the Orange High School gym from 10am for 14 years players and 11am for 13 years.

n Orange Netball Association is looking for a treasurer and senior comp secretary.

Anyone who is interested in filling these roles in 2006 needs to contact the netball complex office.
