FORMER Orange junior Mitch Selwood can't wait to make an impact off the bench in tonight's NBL elimination match between the Hunter Pirates and Brisbane Bullets in Brisbane.
The Pirates swingman has only had limited court time in the lead-up to the finals, playing less than 10 minutes in each of his last four games.
The 21-year-old corked his thigh at training in early January and missed four rounds.
"That was really disappointing to miss games," Selwood said.
"When I got injured it was when I was starting to get more minutes on the court."
Selwood had been playing up to 20 minutes each game and said he wasn't sure how much game time he would get when he comes off the bench tonight.
He is still optimistic about playing in his first NBL finals game.
