15 footballs, panadol stolen from car

POLICE are hunting a thief who made off with more than $1200 worth of footballs after breaking into a car in Wodonga.

About 15 Burley branded footballs and a wallet were stolen from a car parked in Waratah Way on Tuesday night.

Police are also investigating three other thefts from motor vehicles in Wodonga that took place on the same night.

Items stolen included a GPS system, headphones, scissors and Panadol.

Acting Sen-Sgt Larry Goldsworthy urged car owners to remove any valuables from their vehicle.

He said people should make sure they locked their vehicles.
