10 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
WANGARATTA police have two men firmly in their sights over the theft of a new quad bike from a property near the city.

Det Sen-Constable Paul Campbell said two men broke into a shed on a Bourke Road farm at 7.30pm on February 1 and stole the Honda TRX 500 quad bike valued at $13,000.

Sen-Constable Campbell said a similar bike was stolen from the property five weeks earlier.

Police have released pictures from footage of the pair they want to speak with.

Sen-Constable Campbell said one was in his mid-30s with short brown hair, with a solid build and moustache. He was wearing black shorts and tan suede boots.

The other is also in his mid-30s, possibly bald and with a solid build and goatee beard.

Sen-Constable Campbell said any information could be phoned to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
