THERE are reports in Wangaratta of sewer lids being displaced by floodwaters.
As a result, sewerage may be entering the Ovens River.
This will require all those living downstream of Wangaratta, who draw their drinking water from the Ovens River, to boil it for three minutes until further notice to avoid contamination.
