Car crashes through wall

13/11/2008 3:39:00 PM
A 22-year-old male, who was allegedly more than twice the legal blood alcohol limit, was taken to Bunbury Regional Hospital after crashing his car through a brick wall last night.

The Toyota Lexcen was travelling along Moore Street in Bunbury about 9.20pm when the driver lost control of the vehicle at a roundabout and crashed through a brick wall outside a duplex in Thomas Street.

The man was knocked unconscious in the accident, but regained consciousness a short time later.

The man was taken to hospital and was later released with no serious injuries.

The driver was breath tested and police said he recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.143.
