Colley case adjourned to February

21/11/2008 4:00:00 AM
ONE of the brothers charged with the murder of Stephen Robert Cameron has had his court appearance adjourned to February 19 at Armidale Local Court.

Brendan Clive Colley, 26, faced Inverell Local Court yesterday and was refused bail.

No pleas were entered.

His brother, Jack Beauden Colley appears in Armidale Local Court on December 3 via audiovisual link.

They have both been remanded in custody since Mr Cameron, 39, was found dead in his house at Lindsay Ave on October 5.

When Mr Cameron was discovered, police were searching for anyone who had any information about his death.

Later that day, the Colley brothers attended separate police stations in Inverell and Casino.

Following discussions with police and detectives, the men were charged with Mr Cameron's murder.

Police said there were obvious signs of injury to the victim and the post mortem results are still yet to be released.
