Dealer principal Tom Redden said the day was a great success with lots of customers attending the family fun day events.

“It was a real party atmosphere,” he said.

Mr Redden has been with the business since day one and said it was good to reach the milestone.

“I think it is something to be proud of,” he said.

Staff, family, friends and customers enjoyed the day which included a barbecue and give-aways for the crowd.

“It was also a way to say thank-you to all our customers for supporting us over the years,” Mr Redden said.

Clare Valley Toyota employs 20 staff across sales, administration, spare parts and the service department.

In the past decade the dealership has sold hundreds of new and used cars, but Mr Redden was unable to say exactly how many.

“We have sold a lot,” he laughed.

“It would have to be in the thousands now.”

And he is looking to being part of Clare Valley Toyota long into the future.

“I will just take it one year at a time,” he said.

“But I am here for the long haul and looking forward to the future.”
