Design a theatre logo

12/11/2008 8:56:00 AM
MARGARET River Theatre Group is running a competition to design their new logo.

It will replace the two theatre masks from clipart currently used in advertising and on letterheads.

Artists have free range as to how the logo will be representative of theatre.

Ideally it will be in colour but also print well in black and white.

Entries need to be submitted as PDFs or JPEGs to president@margaretrivertheatregroup.com.au by Sunday, November 30 at 300 dots per inch resolution.

The competition winner, to be determined by the theatre group committee, will receive a family pass to the theatre group pantomime Cinderella in January, double passes to all other theatre group productions in 2009 and a $50 voucher to the Margaret River business of their choice.

The winner will also be featured in The Mail.

The second prize winner will get a family pass to Cinderella.

16/12/2008 | So we now have desperate parents attempting to bribe teachers to get their children into a selective high school. What a sad indictment of our education policies, the holy grail of which is parental choice.
