Don’t panic, the bride’ll march

17/11/2008 6:46:00 PM
WHEN Jessica Briggs began planning her wedding to Joshua Newbold her mother Celia had some words of wisdom.

“My advice was to do what you can and if something goes wrong – as it will – don’t panic, go with the flow,” Celia recalled.

Jessica must have recalled her mother’s words when one of the wedding cars broke down on the way to the reception after the November 8 wedding at “Back O’ The Moon”, near Moss Vale. While other brides might have cried or thrown a tantrum, Jessica calmly offered advice on the mechanical repairs and posed for spur-of-the moment wedding photos hitchhiking by the side of the road.

“They nearly got a lift too,” Celia said. “A bus was going to pull up and pick them up.

“That’s typical of Jessica - she makes light of everything.”
