Hot rod poker hands at Bright

6/11/2008 1:00:00 AM
HOT Rod enthusiasts will be on the hunt for the best poker hand when they dominate Bright this weekend.

The 18th annual Hot Rod Run kick starts with a golf day for hot rod entrants tomorrow at Porepunkah.

The action will continue on Saturday with a 90km poker run with participants picking up cards for the chance to win prizes for the best poker hand.

A show and shine competition will be held on Sunday.

Northern Suburbs Hot Rod Club president Ray McDonald said the event was the second largest in Australia.

“We know of people coming from America and New Zealand,” he said.

Owners can register their vehicles tomorrow at Pioneer Park.
