It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

THE countdown to Christmas is well and truly on in Albury with the city council yesterday erecting an enormous Christmas tree in QEII Square.

And the council also unveiled its line-up for this year’s Carols by Candlelight.

This is the second year the tree had been erected, with a second tree put up near Lavington library yesterday.

Decorations are still being added to the trees, with work set to be completed by the end of the week.

Council events team leader Ros Walls is promising a Carols by Candlelight like no other.

“It’ll be one of the best shows we’ve ever seen,” she said.

Carols by Candlelight, headlined by Little Pattie, will be held on December 17 in QEII Square.
