Lauren Jackson wins WNBA MVP

ALBURY'S basketball superstar Lauren Jackson has won her third WNBA most valuable player award.

The Seattle Storm forward joins Sheryl Swoopes (2000, 2002, 2005) and Lisa Leslie (2001, 2004, 2006) as the only three-time winners.

Jackson has averaged 20.5 points and 8.3 rebounds to help the Storm to 28 wins for the season.
