Man’s body found at home in Inverell

HOMICIDE squad detectives are yet to name a 39-year-old man found dead at a home in Lindsay Ave, Inverell, on Sunday.

The man’s body was reportedly discovered at 11am.

It is not known by whom.

Police have confirmed they are treating the death as

“suspicious”.

A crime scene was established at the home on Sunday.

The body has been taken to Newcastle where a post mortem was held.

No results from the post mortem have been made public.

The investigation is being handled by local detectives with assistance from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad. Police are appealing for possible witnesses or people with any information about the death.

The death is one of two mysterious deaths in the region over the long weekend.

A man, believed to be in his 50s, was found in a pool of blood in a carport at Gunnedah yesterday morning.

21/11/2008 | I SCARED an 11-year-old the other day. Probably a few of them actually. It was not my intention. I didn't realise the affect the sight of my tight cotton-swathed arse would have on them.
