Marathon paraglider rescue

A PARAGLIDER stuck 25 metres high in a tree near Bright has been rescued.

The man had been wedged in the fork tree of a tree near Smoko since about 2pm.

He has no serious injuries.

The paraglider was about 25 metres above the ground and a long way from the closest four-wheel-drive track, causing trouble for emergency services trying to rescue him.
