Murray River search for missing man

POLICE have this morning resumed a search of the Murray River and surrounding bushland for a man missing at Albury since Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the Waterworks on Borella Road following reports a man had gone missing in the river shortly before 5pm on Saturday.

Police are being assisted by members of the Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA) who have launched two boats to search the river, as well as several local people in boats and on foot.
