POLICE briefly pursued a man riding an unregistered motorbike without a helmet in Albury last night.
The man, on a small dirt bike, was seen crossing Wagga Road, travelling on Union Road at 7.30pm.
Police signalled for the rider to stop but he continued on.
They pursued the rider for about one kilometre until he turned into a lane near Sutherland Street.
Police said the pursuit lasted about two minutes and was not at high speed.
They said it was unknown if the bike was stolen.
Investigations are continuing.
