Police from NSW and Victoria are pursuing a man described as 22 with dark complexion after a car jacking in Lavington this morning, with the elderly owner injured.

The vehicle was seen in Wodonga's High Street where a pursuit was terminated through the danger to the public and the offender crashed the vehicle soon afterwards.
Police was searching around the Woodland Street area for the man.
In a desperate bid to escape, the offender offered a boy $50 for his bicycle.
