WEST Albury Preschool has launched its own website, helping the non-profit organisation remain competitive in the market.
Preschool director Jennie Kelly said it was important to keep up with the times, provide quality service and the most up-to-date information.
“The easiest way to do this is through the internet. Mums and dads can easily log on and find out all they need to about our preschool,” she said.
The software for the internet database system was donated by StievenTaylor and Associates in Wodonga, who were trialling a way for websites to be managed by people with limited computer experience.
The preschool can update the web page by using well-known functions like “font colour” and “place picture”.
“To get a gift like this is wonderful,” Mrs Kelly said, adding that the preschool receives only limited government funding for its operations.
