BREAKING NEWS:Police have arrested six people over the alleged ongoing supply of methamphetamines in Albury and surrounding areas.
State Crime Command and Albury drug unit detectives arrested five men and a woman and seized methylamphetamine with a street value of $250,000, as well as a Ruger semi-automatic firearm and a stun gun.
Seven search warrants are continuing at homes in Albury, West Albury and Lavington, as well as Frankston in Victoria.
This morning, Tactical Operation Unit officers arrested an Albury man, 25, alleged to be the ongoing supplier of methylamphetamine in Albury and the surrounding areas.
An Albury truck driver, 24, was arrested, as well as another man, 27, at his West Albury home, alleged to be his associate.
Another West Albury man, 23, was arrested in relation to possession of a firearm and an Albury woman, 32, is expected to be charged with possession of a prohibited drug.
The sixth person, a Frankston man, 26, was arrested by Drug Squad officers and is being questioned.
