Thieves hit another school

23 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
WODONGA Senior Secondary College is the city’s latest school to suffer a break-in.

There have been at least six break-ins and vandalism attacks on schools in a fortnight.

Yesterday’s thieves took a laptop from the college library after prying open a door, triggering a silent alarm about 3.30am and alerting police.

Several youths fled as police arrived. Police found the laptop in a nearby street.

Anyone with information on the break-ins is urged to phone Wodonga police on 02 6049 2600 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
