ONLY two more sleeps until tickets for Port Macquarie’s biggest music festival go on sale.
It took just 15 minutes for early release passes for Festival of the Sun to sell out last month.
General release tickets for the two-day gig by the sea go on sale on Wednesday.
This year, Sydney rockers The Panics headline a stellar line-up, which includes Lior, Kate Miller-Heidke, True Live, Operator Please, Wolf & Cub and Californian act That 1 Guy.
Now in its fourth year, the much anticipated summer event, on December 12 and 13, has quickly built a reputation for being one of the country’s most relaxed music festivals.
“It is amazing to be out in the crowd watching a great act and standing next to you could be one of your favourite band members doing exactly the same thing,” co-festival director Simon Luke said.
“The whole weekend feels like we are putting on a festival for our friends and family, as everyone is so chilled and happy.
The event, which sold out last year, attracts thousands of music lovers to town from across the country.
Tickets are $105, plus booking fee, and include two nights’ camping.
They will be on sale from October 8 at www.fotsun.com
