2008 Doug Strang medallist Lee Schmidt has had a frustrating year playing for South Adelaide in the SANFL,
but he has still given Panthers supporters plenty of thrills.
Persistent injuries have kept the former Corowa-Rutherglen forward to one senior match but haven’t prevented him from taking the spectacular marks he became renowned for in the Ovens and Murray.
He recently pulled down a huge hanger playing reserve-grade football which most rate as a SANFL mark of the year candidate.
Footage of the speccy, which was followed by a brilliant
Panthers goal, has proved a hit on YouTube.
