ALBURY-based boxer Solomon Haumono has been left looking for an opponent tomorrow night after Clarance Tillman announced his retirement following his farcical loss to Sonny Bill Williams.
Tillman lasted less than a round against the New Zealand rugby union star and raised the ire of boxing followers around the country.
“I’m pretty much 90 per cent certain that I’m done boxing,” Tillman said after the fight.
Haumono and Tillman were scheduled to fight at Albury’s Commercial Club in an eight-round heavyweight bout this weekend with six amateur bouts also planned.
It is believed Haumono is already searching for a possible opponent from New Zealand.
