The Bushies are asking all past and present players to attend the two-day festival, which will start with the side’s Provincial clash with Belvoir.

The centrepiece will be a reunion ball next Saturday from 7pm at the Tallangatta Memorial Hall, which will include a meal and live music as well as club trivia.

A 12-man team of the last 30 years, selected from a list of 30 by the selection committee, will be announced.

The club will also recognise players from its four A-grade, one B-grade and two C-grade premierships.

“We came up with a list of around 400 names by trawling through old score books as well as other records,” an organiser, Manny Chessari, said.

“If there is anyone out there who played for the club, but hasn’t received an invitation, they are asked to urgently contact one of the organisers.”
