Five Grampians Cricket Association cricketers have been selected in the initial squad of twenty eight to represent Central Highlands at the upcoming Under 14 Commonwealth Bank State Championships.

Youth Club youngsters Jamie Bach and Jackson Dark, Pomonal's Tom O'Neill, Aradale's Tyler Cronin and Chalambar's Jake Robinson are chasing selection for the final squad of 13 for the championships on January 19-23.

The boys were in Ballarat at the Major League Indoor Sports Centre during the school holidays and further training sessions, intra-squad practice matches, and practice matches against other regions will scheduled throughout the 2008/09 season.
