BORDER youngsters Ryan Johnson and Jordan Grimmond recently returned from a European tour where they represented Australia in a sport they had never played.
Grimmond and Johnson joined 22 other junior Australian Rules footballers and 12 parents for an International Rules tour of London and more than 2000km across Ireland with sports tour company Wanderers.
As part of the trip, the Australian representative side played seven International Rules matches against local Irish teams, met former Sydney Swans player Tadgh Kennelly and visited the famous Croke Park, recognised as the home of Gaelic football.
