It was the Tigers’ second road trip to Wagga in as many weeks and with no substitutes on the bench the home team made them work hard for their 16-6 victory.
Albury’s Jimmy Scannell continued his impressive form with six goals while Tom Duck found the back of the net three times, his fitness worrying the opposition.
Dave Barrett played a lone hand for Wagga scoring five goals.
Tigers coach Andrew Grove said he was pleased to consolidate the win against Wagga with victory against Northside at Albury yesterday.
“I was happy with the way we played against Northside especially as the majority of the team played a full game in Wagga,” Grove said.
“(Northside) were missing Chaz Sargeant but they still play a hard-swimming style of water polo which can be hard to play against.”
Sharks continued their unbeaten second half of the season on Friday night when they blitzed a depleted Pool Pirates outfit 12-5.
Shannon Gould dominated in attack, leading with seven goals while for Pirates Isaac Edgar and Matt O’Connell scored two each.
In women’s A-grade, Sharks were too good for a Pool Pirates team minus Tegan Baines winning 8-3.
Leah Dodd and Gemma Harangozo did the damage in attack for Sharks with five goals between.
And Tigers could manage just three goals in their 11-3 loss to Northside, Leah West leading the way for her side with six goals.
