 Australia Day a success

Australia Day a success

02 Feb, 2012 08:32 AM
LAST week I was lucky enough to be in Les Stone Park to attend the Australia Day celebrations.

As usual it was a very well organised event and I couldn’t think of a better place to be at 7am.

This year all of the speakers were very interesting, especially the Australia Day ambassador Dr Rob Moodie.

He has led an interesting life, but his views on certain things really did make you stop and think about how lucky we are.

The award recipients were worthy of their recognition and spoke with passion about their volunteering roles.

An enjoyable morning, thanks to everyone who was involved.

Wodonga
