 Polluters just like children

Polluters just like children

08 Aug, 2011 12:00 AM
WHAT do toddlers and carbon polluters have in common?

Both are prone to temper tantrums.

Witness the wails and crocodile tears from Australian polluters after being told they must start cleaning up their carbon mess.

They’re behaving just like toddlers who don’t want to tidy up their toys.

And just like toddlers they need a calm and firm parent to teach them to think beyond themselves and the short-term, so, too, must our government teach polluters to stop trashing our planet.
