Jason James, speaking publicly for the first time since he was attacked outside a late-night food store, has told The Border Mail of the night that turned his life upside down...
JASON James carefully peels off the white cotton patch taped over his left eye.
The lids are swollen and puffy, his eye bloodshot.
“I don’t even know if it’s open,” he says.
The 50-year-old was savagely beaten in an unprovoked attack outside of Sweethearts in Dean Street, Albury, in the early hours of November 11.
He is now blind in one eye and he has no hearing in his left ear.
Full interview and the shocking photos of Mr James's injuries that night in tomorrow's Border Mail.
