Top spot is up for grabs in the Hume Cricket Association, as the Knightiders try to keep the Panthers at bay after the latter’s 23-run win against the Hoppers at Thurgoona last week.
The Knightriders, who haven’t lost a game, will be hoping Kade Brown (195 runs and eight wickets), Matt McDonald (85 and three wickets) and Eliot Bingham (five wickets) can continue their impressive seasons, while the Panthers will need Justin Ellis (151 runs and six wickets), Mark Sanson (84 runs) and Peter Spreadbury (10 wickets) to fire if they are to cause an upset.
The Bulldogs and Hoppers clash in the other match at Thurgoona.
The competition breaks for Christmas after next week’s games and resumes on January 12.
