Josh, who was born at 12.56pm as the first of four children to North Albury couple Tony and Natalie Egan, has taken up the offer for dinner at his favourite restaurant, Taco Bills.
“Each of the kids when they have their birthday get to choose where they go out for tea,” Tony said yesterday.
“We will do that, celebrate and have a bit of fun I guess.”
It is a big week for Josh, who graduates from year 6 at St Johns Lutheran Primary School in Jindera tomorrow.
He has three younger sisters, Sarah, Rebekah and Jemimah.
Mr Egan said the family had been well aware of Josh’s special 12th birthday.
“We did the sums six or seven years ago and realised it was going to happen,” he said.
“We’ve just been waiting for it to come.
“It all lines up from the day they were born.”
