A RUTHERGLEN man will face court today charged over a spate of business burglaries at Wangaratta.
Wangaratta detectives arrested the man, 38, on Tuesday at Rutherglen and charged him with 17 offences including burglary, theft and attempted burglary.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court today.
Police said eight businesses were burgled between June and December. They said about $6000 in goods were stolen and $30,000 in damages was caused.
