A pizza delivery man was robbed in Broadmeadows on Saturday night, with even the pizzas he was carrying taken by hungry thieves.
The 28-year-old delivery man was making what was supposed to be a routine delivery to a house on Sorrento Street about 11pm.
A police spokeswoman said the house's occupants told the delivery man that they did not place an order, and as he was returning to his car he was ambushed from behind.
Police believe two men pushed him to the ground, stole cash and two pizzas before they fled the scene.
The delivery man was not injured.
