Albury woman assaulted at home

2.30PM: A 24-year-old woman was terrorised by a man in an Albury home this morning.

Police are hunting for a man who forced his way into a Thurgoona Street apartment about 1am.

They say the man demanded money from a 24-year-old woman before assaulting her and running from the unit.

Albury detectives have released descriptions of two men seen near the units this morning “who may be able to assist with (detectives’) inquiries”.

The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his early 20s and about 178cm tall with wavy blonde/light red hair.

At the time, he was wearing a red t-shirt and baseball cap.

The second man is also described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid 20s to early 30s with short brown hair and a large build.

He was wearing a light blue or grey t-shirt.
