LAVINGTON’S Brendan Klein-Boonschate has been called into Cricket Albury-Wodonga’s team to replace Nathan Thompson in tomorrow’s Konica-Minolta Cup semi-final against Western District in Canberra.
Thompson has been forced to drop out of the line-up due to work commitments with the Country Fire Authority.
Coach Trent Ball said CAW was fortunate to have strong depth.
“We thought Nathan would struggle to be available with the fires that have been going on,” Ball said.
“Brendan Klein-Boonschate has been going well and is a very good replacement.”
The semi-final will start at 10am with the final scheduled for 2.30pm.
