Wodonga Tatts in High Street has sent out an SOS for the new near millionaire.
Julie McKenzie-McHarg said Saturday night’s winner was the 46th first division prize sold at the agency.
“It was an unregistered ticket, possibly a quick pick and there is every chance the person is walking around with it in their wallet, oblivious to the fact they have won Tatts,” she said.
“We just hope it is a local.
“So many people just put their tickets in their wallet and next time they are in the shop get us to check it.
“They are going to be in for a shock.”
Mrs McKenzie-McHarg who with husband Paul and partners Tony and Lisa Thorp operate the High Street outlet and Centro Wodonga agency said they were due for a first division winner.
“In all there have been 46 first division winners sold at this shop, but nothing since we took over three years ago,” she said.
“I guess it was due and hopefully with a couple of $10 million draws this week and a $21 million superdraw with Tatts on Saturday night we might improve on our record.”
