8.15AM UPDATE: A WOMAN was killed and three men injured when a car crashed at Laurel Hill, near Tumbarumba yesterday afternoon.
The woman, 27, is believed to have suffered massive head injuries after she was thrown from the car.
Late last night, police issued a release saying the woman was a passenger in a white Mitsubishi Magna station wagon driven by a 29-year-old man, carrying three other passengers,
While investigations continue, NSW police believe the car crossed northbound lanes of Batlow Road, at Laurel Hill, and rolled down an embankment, landing on its roof.
One other person in the car fled just before police and emergency services arrived.
The injured passengers were taken to Wagga Base Hospital, one suffering shoulder injuries, another neck, abdominal and spinal injuries and the third was complaining of abdominal pain.
Road conditions were clear at the time.
Albury police are investigating.
