A NEW department manager at North East Water will help introduce an online billing service, as well as help move the business to a new home in Wodonga’s Thomas Mitchell Drive.
Ann Telford said she was happy to join a workplace she had “a healthy respect for” after years of working with many of her new co-workers when in other positions.
Ms Telford was the operations support manager for the Environment Protection Authority until 2011, before becoming the executive officer of the Hume Alliance.
She is also on the boards of Goulburn Ovens TAFE and the Alpine Valleys Community Leadership Program.
“I’ve spent most of my life in the North East, so I’m excited to join such a vital part of the community,” Ms Telford said.
“North East Water has always had a clear commitment to the environment so I am glad to be part of it.”
