CARS, boats, hot rods and drag-racing tractors will be a feature of Corowa’s Federation Festival tomorrow.
The festival starts tonight at Bangerang Park with a family fun night, a market and fireworks.
Among the major program tomorrow will be a show and shine at the Civic Centre car park that is open to anyone with a precious piece of metal and horsepower.
“This will be a great family day, and the show and shine is a great opportunity to meet new people and explore the thriving Australian car culture,” organiser David Larsen said.
Among the hot rods and muscle cars will be a 2500 horsepower Holden Torana drag car, as well as two speedboats used for the Southern 80.
A highlight will be two Screamers, tractors used for drag racing.
Awards will be presented at 5pm.
The Australia Day program gets under way at 10.30am at Bangerang Park with the Citizen of the Year award.
Sunday will see the grand parade at 11am, with Swans coach John Longmire showing off the premiership cup.
