DOUBLE trouble or twice the fun?

Either way, the Hart and Cooper twins will have their first day of school this week.

While Bailey and Zachary Hart’s parents have decided to split the brothers in separate classes, Matilda and Victoria Cooper’s parents want to keep their girls together.

The girls’ mother, Abby Cooper, said that after Matilda spent a few days in the hospital when she was younger, she “fretted” and didn’t eat until she was reunited with her sister.

Playing with her friends in the weekly meeting of the Albury-Wodonga Multiple Birth Association, Matilda said she was looking forward to school.

“Because I want to paint ... because I want to paint with her (Victoria),” she said.

Carlie Hart said the decision to separate her boys was just as easy.

“In preschool I split them up because they would copy each other and one would speak for the other,” she said.

Bailey, 5, agreed.

“We’re not in the same class, because we’re brothers,” he said.

Preps in Victoria have their first day of school today while kindergarten pupils in NSW start next Monday.
