A FARMER had to be rescued yesterday when a pontoon flipped and trapped his leg.
Police, ambulance and firefighters went to the property at Oxley Flats where they found the man in his 20s chest-deep in muddy water.
“One of the firies stripped off and got him out,” Scott Walters from Wangratta fire brigade said.
“Now he needs a good hose off.”
