6PM UPDATE: A fire has reignited in the same area of Beechworth a blaze destroyed an old farming property late on Friday.
About 17 fire crews have been called to the scene, south-west of Beechworth, where they are battling a small scrub fire.
At about 5pm the CFA issued an advice warning to the towns of Beechworth and Black Springs saying the bushfire was out of control.
At about 5.45pm the latest information was that was fire was still yet to be contained.
Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads.
