A FIRE at a home in North Albury is now extinguished.
Fire and Rescue NSW Inspector Stewart Alexander said the fire may have started from an explosion or small fire from a lawn mower about 4.30pm this afternoon.
He said the fire was fueled by grass and quickly spread to the kitchen at the rear of the house.
Fire crews took 20 minutes to control the blaze.
A man in his 50s, believed to be the only person home at the house, has been taken to hospital with burns to his legs.
