A COBRAM fruit picker was stabbed several times at an orchard near the town on Thursday night.
Detective Sen-Constable Jason Williams said a dispute occurred between two men, both pickers, inside and outside a house on the Cobram South Road property at 8.30pm.
A man, 28, received cuts to his head and abdomen, was taken to hospital for treatment and had since been released.
Sen-Constable Williams said another man, 28, had been charged with recklessly cause serious injury and bailed to appear in court on March 6.
