Man injured at Albury workplace

A MAN, 23, has been rushed to Albury Base Hospital after part of his leg was degloved in a work accident in Atkins Street, South Albury.

The incident, just before 3pm, is believed to have happened when a plate machine fell on the man.

Ambulance and police vehicles were at the scene, at Leed Steel - a welding equipment supplier.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the man’s leg was “severely damaged".

Police say the man is expected to keep his leg.
