A SAFE with a large amount of cash was stolen from a Beechworth home last week.
Wodonga police Detective Sen-Constable Brendan Roche said the Ford Street home was burgled between Thursday and Saturday night when the occupant and his four children were away.
Sen-Constable Roche said the victim came home to find the safe missing.
There was no sign of a break-in.
Sen-Constable Roche said neighbours did not hear or see anything suspicious.
